Our story began long before we opened our doors in York, Richland, Kershaw, and Lancaster counties. Our team brings together decades of professional experience that prepared us to build At Home Palmetto: 15 years in business development and management for both small businesses and major corporations, 10 years of school guidance counseling, a degree in sociology, 20 years of nursing experience, and 30 years of social work with a Master's degree in social work. But it was our personal experiences as family caregivers that taught us what truly matters in care: understanding, patience, and treating every person with the dignity and respect they deserve.

We also learned how isolating it can feel when you're coordinating between multiple providers, when you're not sure if your caregiver truly understands your loved one's unique needs, or when you feel like you're just another client number instead of a family seeking support.
